Oh boy. Got the chart of the day. Glad that I finally finished this project by going through my 100's and at some point I will add new records when I feel like it. Also, will talk later in the day since I have work. But noticing that I have this early in the day, I had to comment.

Thank you for that. I got to go through the rest of George Benson's catalogue. Especially since this album is considered by some as his worst, I'm excited.

One thing that surprised me about this new version is that The Ascension is now your highest-ranked Sufjan Stevens album instead of The Age Of Adz. Why?

I also wasn't expecting Velocity : Design : Comfort to fall 70 places, or Caracal to be the only holdover in the top ten.

To answer your first question, I would argue that while Age of Adz still retains this childhood aura around it, some of the glitch elements somewhat fizzled out a bit. As well as The Ascension I'd argue tackles those elements of glitch with a more "refined" sense?

That way of thinking kinda brought VDC way lower but there were plenty of albums that were higher for my sense. Still a 10 and would make it in my top 10 for 2003 and 2000's list whenever I get to it. And Caracal retaining the top 10? Well it is quite biased but without it, I don't think I would be here.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Geogaddi gets back in the top 10. But both that The Mollusk and Medulla stayed in the top 20. And yeah, when I dig through more albums, this list will change. Don't know when this will get another revamp but so far Mouth Silence is a contender as well as skipping another album that would have been in the midway point.
