I was just thinking that when listing British artists on this website, it might potentially work splitting these into England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland when categorising what country the act and their albums originate from, as this would provide a way to find the best acts from the different countries that make up the UK more easily, plus quite a few acts from these countries see their national identity as a key part of their image (for example, the Proclaimers with Scotland and Manic Street Preachers with Wales). Bands which contain members from more than one of these countries but none outside of the UK could then be shown with the Union Jack as their flag icon instead of the UN flag that is typical for multi-nationality artists on this website
