My least favorite album by The Beatles, even more so than, say, Yellow Submarine. It's still totally solid, but the original iteration of the album, in particular, is so smothered by Phil Spector's production, not to mention some of the mixing on these songs just doesn't serve them at all. But because this is The Beatles, the songwriting is still there, and none of it is unlistenable.
Lots of great songs on here but I still strongly maintain that Let It Be...Naked is the far superior version of this album _________________ Progressive Rock
