Only got around to hearing this record in full recently and what an amazing listen. One that is sonically unlike almost anything I’ve heard. They were truly exploring the realms of sound a guitar could cover, the guitar textures on this album are fucking outstanding.

I’d only heard Goo before and while I liked a lot of it, I didn’t completely resonate with it. Daydream Nation, on the other hand, clicked with me right away. The atmosphere on this one is in a different league.
