Apologies, the site had a couple of big spam attacks over the past few hours and dozens of forum threads were affected. The remnants of the attack were dealt with this morning (posts deleted), but keeping a special eye out in case the spammer(s) re-registers.
Spambots can post dozens of times very quickly (which then causes false-positive new topic notifications for subscribed users etc), so the site treats this very seriously and members will be banned if they are found to be spamming. Please stay vigilant and report anything suspicious.
