Funny, I just recently revisited Dizzy Up the Girl for the first time in years. Very surprised to see it at #2 from BEA's top member. The comment on the chart is priceless.

Yeah...this has been brought up before, and I should probably update my comment, which is from quite some time ago. I barely have time these days to add new comments, much less update old ones.

Dizzy Up The Girl is one that has changed quite dramatically in my view over the years. I ended up listening to it a lot, and it has indeed won me over after hearing it with a lot more patience. That does happen with me from time to time. I'll be the first to admit that my charts aren't perfect. But I keep on trying anyway.

I'm not sure how your remark is a qualifier for such a high rank on your list. It's ok, though. I dig it Cool . Dizzy Up The Girl is fine, an easily digestible, easy-to-listen to album. It always grows on me with repeat listens, to an extent. As you said, they never kicked it into a higher gear, so I suppose a person's favorite Goo album is just a matter of preference, and Dizzy Up the Girl is the easiest one to get into. I prefer A Boy Named Goo though (on my list somewhere in the middle), the album that nicely bridges their Replacements-esque roots with their later pop-driven sound.
