I'm not particularly interested in sites that have a lot of reviews and all that, but I was wondering if anybody knew of any good music websites that have interesting, funny, thought-provoking, whatever articles, or comprehensive music news.
I've long since abandoned Pitchfork as a medium of album criticism, but as far as general music crit. goes, they've got some really compelling articles, some great interviews, and a fair amount of news.
However, it no longer seems like quite enough to sate my hunger for music news, so here I am, asking for recommendations on who has the coolest articles and stuff.

Here are some of my faves:
Only Solitaire- http://starling.rinet.ru/music/index.htm- It's no longer updated, but it still has great reviews on all sorts of classic rock.
Cut Shallow Radio- [url]cutshallowradio.blogspot.com[/url]- Also no longer updated, but has an amazing list of the top 100 albums from 1987-2006. The analysis this guy makes is spot-on!
Other than those two, though, I just rely on Rate Your Music to find stuff I'll love.
