"Since I started listening to music, I've found so many good albums and artists. And what I learnt is the more I love music the harder explaining the reason is(We don't need actually) So, Describing my love for this album, Tigermilk(which is currently my favourite album of all time) seems impossible.
And what is funny is I still think 'If you're feeling sinister' and 'The boy with the arab strap' are much greater than this album, both musically and lyrically. But somehow I always find myself listening to 'Tigermilk' more than any other(not only of B&S records, but also of all kinds of music) That's why I confess this is my favourite album. When people tell about their favourite albums, most of them tends to talk just like they're music critics(i.e. 'How influential is this album...', 'This album is greatest in its genre...') However, I hate it because if I start changing my favourite albums to 'great' albums, I should change many of them. What I want to say is, I don't really think this album is phenomenal, but I like listening to it, though I don't know why. But yes, this is my favourite album surely."

"Very nearly as good as If You're Feeling Sinister, and much more eclectic. The guitar on I Could Be Dreaming is crazy, and a few other tracks have a special feel too (Electronic Renaissance is the most out of place song on any album I've heard, but I love it all the more for that). But in the end Sinister feels more consistent despite it's repetition. Either way, this should always be mentioned in the same breath as it's successor."

I always thought this was some kind of EP between albums or something, and that If You're Feeling Sinister was their first album. But no: this little gem is their full-blown debut album. And honestly, boy-oh-boy did Belle and Sebastian hit the ground running.
