I have For Your Pleasure and it's pretty good very unique. I'm a fan of Eno, and am interested in exploring more Roxy Music any recommendations?

Well Avalon might be the best album ever.

I'd advise their first LP, Roxy Music (with Eno). Eno's not there after For Your Pleasure, yet I'd advise Stranded, very good nonetheless. Country Life also has a very good reputation but I haven't heard yet - will son though.

As Mr. Bates suggested, Roxy Music should be your next listen. After that, I suggest Avalon, which is their best post-Eno work.

For the true Roxy music fan... Avalon blows!!! Don't listen to these people who probably haven't listened to any other album. For Your Pleasure is the best. Album...
Roxy Music (1972)For Your Pleasure (1973) Stranded (1973) Country Life (1974) Siren (1975) .. Then it goes down hill from there
If you like Eno then grab Here Come the Warm Jets ( 1973)
Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy) 1974
Another Green World (1975) Also Phil Mazanera's Diamond Head (1975) is excellent ...all essentially Roxy albums... without Brian Ferry

How I rank them:
For Your Pleasure
Avalon
Stranded
Siren
Flesh + Blood
Country Life
Manifesto
Roxy Music

Highly recommend Stranded and Siren after FYP. Avalon is still a greay Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry album.

I disagree. I rank Avalon after For Your Pleasure and Roxy Music, meaning better than Siren and Country Life. I've not listened to Stranded.

I agree that if it is Eno that you are after, you should listen to his solo stuff.

Okay Avalon is a fine album. It is just that the title track has been over played. And I can't stand to listen to it. I have similar feeling about Led Zeppelin IV. I have grown quite tired of hearing Stairway To Heaven...

Recently saw Brian Ferry in concert.. and it seemed to me he was enjoying playing the early Roxy Music material over the obligatory rendition of Avalon..
