I suppose there are enough games going around, but it's Friday and I got nothing else to do so here's another one we used to play while on long car drives.
The object of the game is to post part of the lyrics to the song and the answer should be a city or town. Same rules as the last game I posted apply, that is, if you have to look it up in order to show off as knowledgeable you are a wanker.
An example:
Clue: "Get up, everybody's gotta move their feet"
Answer: Detroit (from Kiss' Detroit Rock City)
Or if you want to make it more difficult:
Clue: "You used to think that it was so easy, you used to say that it was so easy, but you're tryin', you're tryin' now"
Answer: London (from Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street, which is in London)
Last rule. He (or she) who answers the question has to post a new clue. If she (or he) does not he (or she) should be ashamed of herself (or himself).
New York, New York, USA (you really only needed Copa Cabana
"I could stick around and get along with you..."
I'm just gonna say that the problem with this game is that people can google lyrics and wikipedia places and musicians. I think we need to make it difficult by finding often unquoted lyrics in obscure songs, to at least make the chase fun
