I originally was going to title this, "I wish Paul Gambaccini was dead". But that's a bit harsh.

Anyway, yeah. I've had enough of him. Every pop music documentary (except, y'know, the good ones) feature him chatting utter shit. Specks of faecal matter literally splash the camera whenever he opens his mouth. He just said Princess Diana's death culminated in "a Woodstock of grief". I couldn't care less about the monarchy, but I wish she hadn't died solely on the basis that I would never have heard that sentence had she not.

What a twat.

Please feel free to insult Paul Gambaccini in the most disgusting terms possible. Or just ignore this post. Either way, I had to get that off my chest.

I didn't know who he was but then I saw the first line of the wikipedia article say he is the "professor of pop". I guess he is someone who looks to far into music, am I right?

I know the man, and recognized him. I remember that he was involved in jury (ten years ago?) the VH-1 music channel program, which opted for the all time albums. I don't remember exactly what he philosophized, only how he praised U2's Joshua Tree.

Haha yeah, that grin...

Was joking with the Diana comment btw, don't even remember it happening. Charles is better IMO also.
