Definitely not my second-favorite Queen album. Much of it sounds like fragments of songs, but "Killer Queen" is one of the greatest Queen songs to date. Yes, there are highlights, but I much prefer their 80's albums!

Not bad by any means but there are five Queen albums better than this one. Killer Queen though is...well...killer Queen. Maybe their best song. I'm also kind of partial to Leroy Brown.

Which five, out of curiosity?

Anyway, incredible album. Easily their second best. Brighton Rock is a great opener with a tasty drum beat, Killer Queen is among their best, and Tenement Funster is arguably even better. Other greats include Flick of the Wrist, Misfire, Bring Back That Leroy Brown, and She Makes Me, though there really isn't a single bad tune on the album.

In order:

1. Jazz
2. A Night at the Opera
3. News of the World
4. The Game
5. Queen
6. Sheer Heart Attack
7. The Works
8. A Day at the Races
9. Queen II
10. Hot Space

Have yet to rate the newer ones, but if I remember correctly neither will make the top 6. All these are good albums. Even Hot Space has it moments, although I wouldn't go as far as recommending it.

Neither? You're missing at least 3 (more if you count Flash Gordon or Made In Heaven; I s'pose if you're not counting A Kind of Magic, either...). Seems like a reasonable list, though I can't imagine Queen II being their 9th best Think To each his own, I suppose.

By the way, I wouldn't discount Innuendo. It's among my favorite Queen albums Very Happy

Great album. Almost as great as A Night at the Opera, I'd say.

Queen albums in order:

1. A Night at the Opera
2. A Kind of Magic
3. The Works
4. Jazz
5. The Miracle
6. A Day at the Races
7. The Game
8/9. Queen II/Sheer Heart Attack

15. Flash Gordon

..I haven't listened to the non-mentioned albums yet! But my point is that "Sheer Heart Attack" is far from the best album, in my opinion of course!
