(copied in from another thread)

To RFNAPLES:

I bet you a month's SILENCE in the BEA "politics & religion" forums that the presidential electoral map the day after the election looks more like the electoral-vote.com "rasmussen-free" presidential electoral map than the one they show on their homepage or any other presidential electoral vote map representation you can find that favors romney by even more than the map on the electoral-vote.com homepage. I'm talking about the final electoral tally totals. (Right now the homepage shows Obama leading 328 to 191 with 19 in tie. The Ras-free map shows Obama winning 332 to 206.)

Meaning, the morning of election day, Nov. 6, we will view the ras-free map totals and the electoral-vote.com homepage totals for each candidate (OR a map that more favors romney the morning of Nov.6, if you prefer). Then, come the next morning of the 7th, compare the actual results to electoral tally totals that were on those two pages (on the 6th). If the map totals you choose are closer to the truth, then you win. If the ras-free map totals are closer to the truth, then i win.

If you win, i will post NOTHING in "politics & religion" from November 8th through December 8th. If i win, you take a break from posting anything in that forum from November 8th through December 8th. That means, whoever loses can't post in ANY of the threads within "politics & religion" at all.

So do you take the challenge/date/bet or not? The whole of BEA who are unfortunate enough to happen upon these posts will be our witnesses.

Yeah, come on Naples. You know Obama's lead is only temporary and Romney is going to pull this out. Laughing Do it, man!... should be an easy bet to win. Razz

Of course, this might be like asking a junkie to lay off heroin for a month. Think

Simplify it - Obama win vs Romney win.

...but if Naples has such faith in Rasmussen, I support the bet. Go for it!

I'm for either bet -- either the Rasmussen-based bet posed or simply an Obama win (NAPLES doesn't post in any "politics & religion" forums for a month, Nov.8 through Dec. 8 ) vs. a Romney win (*i) don't post in any "politics & religion" forums for a month, Nov.8 through Dec. 8 ). Either one -- NAPLES can choose.

Up the ante - I'll throw my name is as well. If Naples wins, I'll not submit in the Politics and Religion forum for a month either.

Why should it be limited to a month and to the "politics & religion" forum ?
