Possibly the weakest album by Gorillaz, but still has gems like Clint Eastwood and 19-2000, just doesn't hold together as well as the other few.
Pretty good debut though, to think Damon Albarn went from Blur to British electronic trip-hop.

What made this album come to life is the characters. I love the idea of them and pretend they made the music rather than that guy from Blur.
The idea for the band didn't go to plan later on and if there is to be an album after 'The Fall' the members are likely to be what 'Eddie' is to Iron Maiden.
I want more bands with great characterization Don't want a future of anonymous nameless drones in T-shirts and jeans who say they are a "band for the people" and lash out at the mainstream and each other. Every few years another batch coming in. Oh god, it is scaring me just thinking about it

A good debut album, and those videos are all brilliant. I remember when I was 15 they were one of the few bands I really liked and it opened my mind in the way that if a music good then I shouldn't care of the genre at all.

Preferred their second album, hated their third.
Always struck me as a good singles band really. Del tha Funkee Homosapien's guest verse on 'Clint Eastwood' is da bomb, as the kids (don't) say.

I really like this one. Nice blend of all sorts of genres, which to me seems to define the 00s. Their best IMO.

Funny - I don't have a problem with him in this particular instance... _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.
