We have another Let's Stay Together situation. Paper Planes was played as a single by 2007 here, but Jack you are correct that it was released in 2008. It was just never caught before.
So far, for what I have listened to, Contra is the only thing I like. Of course I need to listen to 2 more albums, but I am either abstaining or voting for 2010. Personally, I dislike the singles the most on both teams. Anyways, it's a pretty even match up in my opinion. I don't wanna trash the teams, but I don't wanna give any false praise either so overall I think they are pretty below average teams.
Im loving this matchup. Very fine 08 team (though some of it I don't care for), and Grouper may just swing this. But I love Purple's beautiful snarl of a presentation here (and secretly love those singles ), even if I don't like Contra all that much, but I'll listen to those two albums I haven't heard and re-listen to a little bit of 08 before deciding.
