There is a Highest Rated Songs chart already. Best Ranked Songs charts would be interesting though.

Astonishingly, Kendrick has the highest-rated rap song. BEA loves Kendrick.

It'd be interesting to have the Albums functionality added to Artists and Songs (i.e. Song & Artist charts, rank scores, rankings, etc).

Part of the reason why I love this site is because it's so album orientated - which is why it attracts certain people. Not everyone has the dedication to listen to an album from start to finish. We live in a singles driven world, and it's refreshing to find a community that respects albums as a body of work.

Having songs or artists charts would ruin that, I feel.

Hearing albums as full works has become so normal to me that I forget things like this.

It's bestever "albums" but... songs are part of albums. So I have no strong feelings either way.

I'd have to kiss goodbye to my social life, and everything else to do this Sad

I understand why people might want this, and I confess that I also think something more should be added for singles and tracks (trying to pull together songs for the year tournament was quite difficult from BEA), but the whole basis of the site is albums and trying to fit this neatly into what is already here is very complicated. It just doesn't sit well at the moment, and there are all sorts of ramifications if this was ever to be done. I'm not saying it will never happen, but I don't think it's something that will happen in the near future due to the scale of what's needed.

I'm happy to keep this as an album site for the time being, and there's not many other sites that I can think of that specialise in this format so I think keeping in this niche also helps distinguish the site from other sites that are out there.

Agreed. The fact that this this site is album oriented is my favorite thing about it. I'd hate to see this site attract people that don't really appreciate the idea of an album.
