One of the best albums ever made, from the single greatest musician of the twentieth century. His omnivore, high-low-brow culture style started here was a great precursor to our music scene today.

Sure beats the crap out of Revolver and Pet Sounds.

I'd only edit that to say St. Pepper and Pet Sounds. Tragically underrated. Paul McCartney said their biggest influences for St. Pepper were Pet Sounds and Freak Out!

No more drunk posting for tonight Borve !

This is better than Revolver. Anyone with Revolver higher than this on their chart IS WRONG.

Generally fantastic. The experimental sound-collage tracks at the end sometimes bug me though, which is strange because I usually love Zappa's experimental pieces.

Picture was definitely a wrong word to use. Maybe I should've said 'art experiment' or something. I like the album in theory - its concept and how its composed. But I'm not sure about the actual musical content . I agree with Yourselfisntsteam, I don't enjoy the sound collages as much as I would've expect

And I don't drink on weekdays. And Revolver > Freak Out!. And The Beatles > Frank Zappa
