And I've never figured out why he says those words like chant over the music? what's the point?

It's on my 60's chart so i think it's pretty good.

Blue Train is better.

At least I think it is, I haven't heard this album in a long, long time.

So far my only justification for this not being on my chart is that I have Kind Of Blue in my top ten, and Coltrane had a pretty consistent presence throughout that. Still, that's hardly enough Coltrane representation. I may have to fix that soon

I still think Coltrane is over-rated Confused

Giant Steps, Ascension & My Favourite Things are both better. But none are all too great apart from Giant Steps.
