Youtube? Buy the album? Illegal download ๐ ? How do you get your music? And if you buy albums, how big is the collection?
For me, YT. If the big companies didn't want their music on YT, they would take it off. So that's legally. But that doesn't mean I'll never buy an album. There are albums I still want to own, and some I can't find on YT anyway. My collection would be around 200-300. But they aren't all my CD's. The ones I own would probably be around 30.

All legally. I'd say 3/4 from iTunes and 1/4 from CDs. Not sure about that figures but the general idea is that most is from itunes with still a good amount being from CDs. As far as Youtube being an option, that isn't really "getting" the music, is it? At least the way I interpreted is in the form of having some sort of ownership of it. Youtube is more akin to listening to the radio. _________________

Own about 100+ albums physically but all music stores here are now gone, CDs are a dying breed due to the internet. Problems in my house mean we now only get 0.14MB broadband making even streaming unfeasible so currently my friend gives me music when possible. _________________

I buy albums occasionally, usually favorites I've already heard, due to my lack of an income (being fourteen), and the fact that I always prefer buying books. I prefer CDs over mp3, and I don't have any sort of mp3 player (well, I do, but I don't use it). I'm hoping to get a record player sometime though, and maybe get a few albums on vinyl. That'd be nifty. ๐

90% I get illegally, HOWEVER that last 10% is still like multiple thousands of dollars in total. For every complete discography I own, I've legally purchased at least one album from said discography

Oh, I think I've gotten only one album illegally, and a few others people have sent me links for. I generally don't like doing it, but...Y'know.
