There ya go, the classic debut album by one of the greatest rap groups ever. Pretty cool.
If you've heard this what are your thoughts on it? Let us know.
I always think of this as a decent enough album with great singles. 'Can I Kick It?', 'Bonita Applebaum' and 'I Left My Wallet...' are all just stunning songs.

Yeah, I agree. It's pretty cool. I like Low End Theory more. But this was a good start. _________________ -Ryan
Interesting anniversary. I've always thought their first was way too long. There are really good elements, but also many less enjoyable ones, and the whole thing is actually quite monotonous.
I can never pick a favourite between TLET and MM, they're both excellent. On one side, I feel that TLET's sound is more dark and dissonant, less accessible but maybe more interesting than MM, which is however more playful and more easily enjoyable. Neither makes my chart at the moment, but it could change with time. I don't know. Great day, pick for the day, anyway!
All five of their albums would probably crack my top 200,the best hip hop act of all time,no doubt and probably my favourite overall act too. This is definitely their most fun album and it's the album by them I always reach for when it's sunny,I think that's why I slightly prefer it to MM.It just puts a massive smile on my face from the start to the end,a rare quality for anything to possess and I hope that will never change.I've always loved rappers that just float over beats and Q-Tip is the king of this and he's no different on this album. It's a pity Phife and Jarobi aren't on more here, but Q kills everything,so you don't really miss them. It's not as jazzy as their future works,i'd probably say it's more funk than jazz(although I know fuck all about funk so I could be talking nonsense). It's a must for all music fans and I'd highly recommend it 10/10,100%,A+,*****,5 mics, etc, etc.

I will def be checking this out again today, as it is sunny and 80 degrees for the first time this year here in St. Louis.
Every rave review rolled into one! Ha! _________________ -Ryan
