... do there have to be in my room before I should be concerned? There are moths everywhere. I can see 6 without moving. Are you seeing moths in your room? 😕
A few years ago me and my brother were watching a movie in his room. It was the late evening, and I decided to leave both my light on and my window open. Returning to my room, flapping it's wings, charging itself at my light-bulbs was a moth, a BEHEMoth, that could only have crawled it's way out of the pits it's hell itself using its claws to pry itself towards the earth's surface.
Whilst this Behemoth was trying to break my lightbulb by smashing it's head violently against it repeatedly, I refused to enter my room for the next few hours. When I finally retired in the for the night, the Behemoth could not be seen, so I shut my eyes and went to sleep. 3am turned around, but it was not my alarm that woke me. In the pitch-black the only thing that could be heard would best be described as a combination of a choking lawnmower with wings that must have been powered by a poorly oiled machine - ramming itself, a constant thudding, into my window. It was a nightmare scene as this grotesque creature, seemingly built from God's steel, charged itself time and time again into my double-glazing. Its escape plan soon failed after half an hour as it eventually gave itself concussion, a quick deathly buzz and the loud clang of it hitting against the radiator as it fell to the ground was all that was heard.
The Behemoth was not seen again. I can only assume he went on his way to terrorize another child. That, or as he hit the ground, he burst into fragments of dust that once constructed him.

Fantastic story! 😲 I have never seen a huge one. Occaionaly a huge slug gets through the roof but you can just open the window and put them outside.
All the moths have gone now. 😕 I have been in and out of my room twice since last post.
