A nearly perfect album in every way. Great songs, musicians, arrangements and production. It is probably Carly Simon's best album, although she has made so many albums, and in so many different styles, that it's hard to pin down the best. My only complaint here is that "Night Owl", written by James Taylor, is not up to the standard of the other songs. Yet even on this track, her vocal is something to behold. (Edited)

Poppy snd mostly forgettable with few exceptions that we all know
An ok easy listening album, You're So Vain being the standout track.
This comment is beneath your viewing threshold.
The key to the album success was You’re So Vain which topped the US singles chart and was # 3 in the UK. The subject of the song has been debated ad nausem but Carly has stated that it is about an amalgam of vain men she has known rather than a single person.
The album is packed with other great tracks with The Right Thing to Do being a wonderful song
