The Rubber Soul/Revolver of the 80s, just as catchy and varied, but more insane. I love it.

Just listened to this for the first time a few weeks ago while working through the top 100. I have been kicking myself since for not hearing it sooner. It is clear that it was a major influence on the early 90s alternative rock explosion.

About as close to flawless as an album can get. No weak tracks. "Dead", "No. 13 Baby", and "Gouge Away" are 3 of the best songs ever written. I could go on, but if you don't already know how incredible this album is, you should probably just go listen to it yourself.

I couldn't write anything that would give this album justice.

One of my all-time favorites. A lot of people panned it as "college rock" when it came out. Glad it's gotten the recognition it deserves.
