  • Post subject: robot-related songs a grade-schooler could dig?
Hi all,

I'm looking for ideas for songs that a kid who likes science stuff, especially robots, would dig. They can't feature profanity and the like and the song has to be simple enough to where it's more about the fun of the song than any complicated ideas.

So far, i only have 3: one from daft punk (he's seen all of their videos), one from lcd soundsystem about daft punk, and "mr. roboto". I think "yoshimi battles..." would work, so i might add that. I think the alan parsons project album songs are a bit too non-poppy for him to want to listen to often. It'd be great if the song actually features a talking/singing robotic voice..

Can anyone think of anything else along these lines? Thanks for the help. I thought this would be a fun exercise for some of you...

P.S.: Can you name the artist and song suggestions? I can't see/play music clips/videos from work... Thank you.

Can you all name the artist and song suggestions? I can't see/play music clips/videos from work... (For a lot of these, all i see is a blank rectangle and a "Link" that i can't follow.) Thank you.

The double-entendre may be a little too much though.

Add N To (X), "Plug Me In"

Not familiar with these songs or artists for that matter (except for name recognition). This will be a fun thread to revisit after work! Smile (i heart discovering new-to-my-ears music.)
