A Keane Best Of album will be released later this year. Shocked Such amazing news! I had forgot about this band until recently. 'Hopes and Fears' and 'Under the Iron Sea' have so much favorites. Let's have a thread to remember all about them.

For a band that has been working since 1997 (first album in 2004) I don't think it's too early. Kaiser Chiefs and Doves also released Best Ofs in their first decade of existence.

They have been active longer and have only one less album than R.E.M. when they released Eponymous.

4 albums is the minimum for a single-disc greatest hits I think. So Keane is in the clear. 3 or under is iffy unless they have a bunch of non-album singles. 5-7 is preferred, anything more than that and it needs to be a double album.

The tracklist is kind of hilarious though, 7 songs from Under the Iron Sea! Why not just buy the album...?
