I love this album, it's both chaotic and beautiful. That first big instrumental break after the first section of The Dead Flag Blues sends chills down my spine.

One of my favorite Post Rock albums

All the multiple different tracklistings make my head hurt. The Lonely Cowboy, as it shows on my iTunes (the instrumental part between the train sounding part and the bell and xylophone happy part), is one of the best moments in music.

I love post-rock and this is one of my favorite post-rock albums. I just love basically everything GY!BE has done.

Well obviously you have to try again. But it's not really one of those of albums that you can get the most out of it while sitting in your room. You should listen to it loud while driving, it does wonders. If you don't drive, get on a bus in a sunny day in some desolate part of the city, sit on one of the front seats and enjoy the music.

Or wait until it's winter, snow everywhere, and then take a walk while listening to the album. Twas my first experience with the album, and it was lovely

Great album. I once listened to this while reading The Road by Cormac McCarthy. This album soundtracks that book perfectly. A great place to start if you want to get into post-rock or have a passing interest in expiermental music. This was the album that got me start.

Honestly, though, I have a hard time deciding whether this or the EP they released after this is their masterpiece.
