Fantastic! I thought it was really average after the first listens, but the BDAT made me want to listen to it again a few days ago. On next update, it's on my chart. Amazing amazing amazing.

This usually hovers near the bottom or outside my top 100. It's a great album, and this is Jay at his peak.

Track picks
2. Takeover
3. Izzo (H.O.V.A.)
4. Girls, Girls, Girls
12. Renagade
13. Blueprint (Momma Loves Me)

Relistened to this yesterday. It's hard to go wrong with Jay at his best + Kanye beats.

A pop rap masterpiece. The only weak moment here is the "Renegade", which is just a "I am who I am" track. Not bad, just in comparison to what was before it and after it, it just feels out of place. Not Jay Z's greatest masterpiece (Reasonable Doubt), but a perfect example of an artist taking pre established song types and mastering them.
