Boy was the most pleasant surprise of the tourney for me, but unfortunately it's up against perfection.

Lolol thanks loveless this is great.
Haven't heard Boy and don't plan on it but I doubt it would change anything anyways.

I find that Boy manages to avoid much of the typical U2 hate... it's a very good album.
That said, Unknown Pleasures beats this by a mile. _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.

OK, so Boy is great. Don't get me wrong, in the way of "things that aren't on my chart", Boy is probably #1. It's a great album.
But you have to look at what Boy is. Boy is U2's attempt to fill in the hole that Joy Division left behind. Bono has stated that his goal was to be the best band in the world other than Joy Division, because he knew he couldn't get there.
So while Lillywhite's production has always been incredible, and U2's music has usually been great, this is just not a hard decision.
If you still don't believe me, just remember that Boy's best song is about missing Ian Curtis. _________________

Does anyone else agree with me that "Day of the Lords" is Joy Division's best song? _________________
