Not a fan of R.E.M.'s debut. Easy vote for Eno for me.

Murmur has the edge. Eno would do much better afterwards. REM would never.

Well fuck. Murmur doesn't deserve this treatment. it's such a fantastic debut that really played a big role in the history of independent rock.
But Here Come The Warm Jets is my pick for a reason. It's one of the greatest albums I've ever heard. Completely original, highly influential, and I just love Eno's dark sense of humor.

This is a little hard but right now Murmur is my favourite R.E.M. album so I voted for that (actually right now I'm not sure because I voted about an hour ago and I remember I had doubts )

Both great albums. I prefer Automatic to Murmur though. Not that that should mean anything since I also prefer Another Green World to Here Come the Warm Jets, but all that early Eno work is spotless. _________________

Eno's grown on me a LOT since I listened to this album on the old bracket to get ready for it vs FEFA.
That said, this one goes to REM. _________________

The title track of 'Here Comes...' might be one of my favourite song of all time. I enjoy Murmur but eno took my vote _________________ If you're feeling sinister, Go off and Listen to Indie Pop
