What is your prediction about the ranking of this album!?
btw plz don't complain why i started a topic for this...when a top 10 band on bea releases an album i think there should be a separate topic for it!
The new album will crack BEA's Top 200 within a matter of months. It will be shit. People will initially not see anything particularly special in it, but grow to love it. It will still be shit.
I hate building up albums like this. It just gets built up and built up like it's going to be the greatest album in history and then your expectations are so high that the album ultimately disappoints. Sometimes it lives up to the expectations, but not that often.
I mean, I get being excited, but calling it the album of the year already? Hoping it gets ranked high? We haven't even heard it yet, are we just going to rank it really high just on principle because its Arcade Fire? What if it totally sucks? We don't know yet. I just don't think you can make a judgement call on something like that without even hearing it. _________________ Progressive Rock

Good example for hyping but somehow different from reflektor. Actually Radiohead somehow "had reached" that potential...but arcade fire...after neon bible i thought that their debut will be their best but then the suburbs came out and this was the sign that this band is going to be special.I don't know maybe the suburbs was the place where arcade fire reached their potential...
