So this is basically like the dream supergroup thread, except it has to be just two solo artists. Who would make the most kickass musical duo? What I've come up with so far:
MF Doom and Flying Lotus
Owen Pallett and Joanna Newsom
FKA twigs and Burial
Sufjan Stevens and Nick* Zammuto (The Books)
