Philip Seymour Hoffman died today 🙁 He was 46. One of my favourite actors of all time.

Just a small thread of appreciation 🙁

Going to watch Synecdoche, New York later.

R.I.P, can't say I've seen much of his, but The Big Lebowski (duude), Red Dragon, The Boat That Rocked and Moneyball were enjoyable.

Overdosed apparently (Heroin I've heard but I guess nothing has been confirmed yet.

I'd probably put Boogie Nights and The Big Lebowski in my top 5 films of all time (I know he didn't have a massive part in either but he still deserves credit). The guy was very talented no doubt.

This is just awful and unexpected. Personally I wasn't a huge fan of his acting, but the news is just depressing either way. Found with the needle still in his arm. What a terrible image 🙁

I don't think I've ever been this fucking unhappy about a celebrity death. He was the actual best actor. Didn't he have kids too? That's horrible.

Yeah. I think the oldest is 10 or 11 🙁 But he has 3 kids.

It's just really tragic news.. I think it's going to be confirmed as an OD, that's pretty much what every source is speculating. I doubt it was a suicide though 😕 But possible still.

Remember seeing this today and thinking I was seeing some sort of sick joke. Unbelievably sad for someone who was only 46. One of the greatest of not only his but any generation, one of those true actor's actor who actually got some of the greatest leading roles of his time. Still can't believe it.
