I definitely prefer Aha Shake Heartbreak and Because of the Times, but this is a solid album. Kings of Leon can definitely skew a bit underrated at times.

I love Kings of Leon so much and this is the album I find to be them at their best! Every track is fun and catchy and that's the way I like this particular band.
I guess it's also relevant to add that "Sex on Fire" was one of the first songs that really got me to start listening to music on a more constant basis back in the late 00's.

Never did it for me... It starts to all sound the same and my attention drifts. _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.

You know what, I like this for the most part. Not the best stuff they've done, but still enjoyable. "Revelry" is probably in my top-3 favorite KOL songs. _________________ Progressive Rock

Use Somebody is a strong contender for my least favorite song. The rest is pretty awful as well.

People love to hate Kings of Leon, and it's understandable why. I still think Aha Shake Heartbreak was a great record, and Because of the Times had some solid tracks, but Only By Night is when things started going terribly wrong. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

I really like their first two albums. Solid hard rock albums both of them. They started to lose me with Because of the Times but still think that's a good indie pop album. This is where the Velveeta came in. I prefer cheddar.
