Note that I skipped over Necharsian's #1 album, In Den Gärten Pharaos, because it was recently featured on World Album of the Day.

Summary Info: Kamelot is an American progressive power metal band. The Black Halo is their seventh studio album and the second part of a two-part saga inspired by Goethe's Faust. The first part was their previous studio album, Epica (2003).
Necharsian wrote: | Part II of Kamelot's Faustian saga, The Black Halo is significantly darker than its predecessor. Where Epica dealt mostly with power and greed, TBH focuses on the consequences of them. Incredibly detailed and emotive the album still hits me as hard as the first time I heard it. |
