Decidedly it is better to leave the stagnant Hip Hop bases to finally shine at its true value, we already noticed it this year with Lil Yachty, it's Slowthai's turn to offer his monument

Exciting release from Slowthai that goes in an interesting new direction, explores introspective lyrical themes and features killer collabs!

Really like the direction slowthai is taking on this one. Some songs straight up sound like unreleased tracks from London Calling. (Edited)

Ugly is Slowthai's most mature album to date. It pushes farther into the rock genre and the album allows him to speak everything about his mind and his struggle with mental health. The beats are luring and the lyrics are intense. Very solid album. 7.5/10
