By way of explanation, several Pete Ham demos were released in a limited-edition "variety pack" CD in 2022, including three of the demos in this collection. -Misunderstood- focuses on unreleased songs recorded by Ham during the last year of his life (late 1974 - April 1975), most of which haven't been officially released before, though five of them were included on disc 2 of the posthumous -Head First- CD, released in 2000 by the surviving band members. Most of the tracks here were remixed in 2021-22 (for possible inclusion on the "variety pack" CD) and then remastered in 2023; they're still fairly "rough," though. Only three are full-band demos, along with one ("Just How Lucky") that's just Ham with (presumably) Tom Evans on bass.
