There's definitely enough atmosphere, melancholy, and occasional splashes of off-kilter instrumentation here to avoid the "easy listening" tag, but clearly this is not an album full of stompers and bangers. There's a good mixture of electronic and traditional acoustic instruments, and while the vocals aren't inspiring, they're certainly competent, and some of the songs are very pretty. All that said, titles that force people to use the extended character set are just not a good idea, even if it seems that way when your bass player inevitably suggests it. Some people just don't know how to access those characters, so they're just going to call it "Spiral Question Mark," which only causes people to ask who Mark is and why you can't just ask him a normal question instead of a spiral one.
