Look, I like dogs as much as the next guy, though I'm looking at the next guy right now and he strikes me as more of a "cat person." Cats don't need offerings, they just assume everything is already theirs... Anyway, Dustbunny is a five-piece grungepop act from Portland, Oregon led by singer-songwriter Chloe Flores. Flores' voice does sound a bit weary on some, and maybe most of these tracks, but it's quite appropriate for the material, which sort of exists somewhere between the "post-punk" and "pop-punk" tags on your MP3 player. Good tunes, pretty good recording, maybe not super-distinctive, but worth a listen for fans of the genre.
