A step forward for Deadletter: departuring (at least, a bit) from the rawness of their first album and expanding their sound without losing their urgency. Here, their sounds expands from classic Post-Punk, mantaining features of their contemporaries Idles and Murder Capital but including influences from Depeche Mode and Franz Ferdinand. Perfectly arranged, haunting vocals, clever lyrics. My AotY. Recommended tracks: Purity I, Frosted Glass, He Himself and Him, but - honestly - all of them.
