This 5-piece "classic 90s-style" shoegaze band is from Scotland, which has always been the best place for classic-style shoegazers to come from. They're very heavy-sounding and dynamic, without being too harsh or "scratchy." So that's nice... The only thing about this record that's odd is the last half of the last track, "Always Green," which ends at about the 3:30 mark and then goes on for almost three more minutes with some sort of spoken-word sermon or poem, delivered by a guy with an American accent. I can't quite make out what's being said because of all the reverb, but I'm sure it's fine, and probably won't cause you to join a right-wing Christian death cult or anything silly like that. (If you do though, don't say I didn't try to warn you.)
