This was shortlisted for the Grammy for album of the year 1962. The eventual winner was Judy At Carnegie Hall by Judy Garland.

I love show tunes and this album has a handful of spectacular ones. "Maria" "America" "Tonight""I Feel Pretty" and "Somewhere". The last song was even the song of my graduating class!
I guess some of this acclaimed modern classical stuff just doesn't speak to me like Wagner, Mozart, etc...
