If you'd told me at the start of the year I'd have a record made by someone who started out life on my cousin's record label as the best of the year, as well as a black metal LP and not just one but three electronic/IDM albums in my 2013 top 10 (oh, and a My Bloody Valentine album too) I'd have thought you'd flipped your lid. It's been a crazy year (both musically and personally), and this chart is testament to that. Jimmy, December 2013.

Some interesting albums here that id like to check out. Exercise Tape, Pearl Mystic, Drone Logic, to name a few. And great to see Matangi so high. Great stuff.
Also if you liked Sunbather you might like "Try not to destroy everything you love" by An Autumn for Crippled Children. Similar style, but more shoegaze-y and the vocals are drowned out more too. You might dig

If you haven't already you should check out Splashh's 'Comfort' from this year, it's definitely right up your street.

Thank you for your recommendation. I had a little listen and have to say that King of Conflict is a dire, dire little record. I'm more an indie-popper than a guitar rocker, and am old enough to remember MBV the first time round. Thanks for stopping by!

Seeing alot of love for My Bloody Valentine. I was never a big fan of Loveless but i'll get round to checking it out. If you like guitar rock i'd highly recommend checking out King Of Conflict by The Virginmarys.
