So we finally get to the last few days of 2014, and after huge reshuffles and the sudden appearance of a bona-fide, clear-cut Numero Uno I can for the first time all year say that I'm relatively happy with the below. Given my tastes, a whole chunk of stuff that will probably be in other's lists ain't here, but then if it was how fucking boring would that be. Swoon, bop and pogo yourself stupid. Yes. Yes. YES!!! The Irish indie-pop version of Wavves. Utterly, totally essential stuff. I'm not going to bother writing long essays about everything else on this list - partly 'cos I want to go to bed soon - but suffice it to say that if you're going to take time to check out anything on this list, make it this one, 'cos it's a good'un.
