All of those are definitely on the fringes, but my criteria is pretty board. Black Oak is kinda Southern Boogie but then you have songs like "Back To The Land" which is definitely a country song. Ry Cooder is Country/Blues/Rock/A-Whole-Mess-of-Other-Stuff, but "Paradise and Lunch" has a predominantly country vibe. John Stewart is Country/Folk but listen to "Omaha Rainbow" and tell me that's not country. etc. etc. etc. Like I said in the Country 1-100 chart: think big umbrella with lots of holes. Any albums you'd add? I'm mostly on here for suggestions.

Actually I meant JOHN Stewart, not Gary. I always mix them up. But I DO have problems with Ry Cooder and Black Oak Arkansas and John Hiatt and Mickey Newbury. I just never THOUGHT of them as country, I guess. But that don't mean they aren't, right?

Yeah, I expected more problems with Neko Case, Vic Chestnutt, and Relatively Clean Rivers than Gary Stewart man haha he's pretty country. Also, check 1-100 for better albums (even though things are kind of in flux right now that it's spring break and I got some time).

I saw Jerry Reed in newly added albums, and I just wanted to see who the cool person was who added it. Cuz the only country albums I truly find great are ones like here in this chart. In other words , old 60s and 70s country. The only country albums I have in any of my charts are Jerry Reed, Chet Atkins, Buck Owens. All the amazing country guitar guys. And a few George & Tammys. And a Kitty Wells. And Tony Joe White. Hope to discover more good ones from your AWESOME chart though. But u think Jesse Winchester n Gary Stewart are country? Guess so, now that I think about it.
