London 2 London (A musical journey)

This is a journey, not sure where it is going to take me but the idea is to get around the world in 100 stops, starting and finishing in my home town of London (U.K.). The challenge is that I have to own the album that is featured so this might get a little awkward but.....

There aren't too many bands who epitomise a location like the Stones. They also started playing just down the road from where I live at eel pie island so very local. Next we head on the train from London kings cross to Edinburgh.

The man from Leith himself. Great singer songwriter. A great Edinburghian (I kid you not). So, we've taken the train from London To Edinburgh. We are now going to hitch a ride on a cargo ferry to zeebrugge in Belgium. So now I'm looking for a great Belgian artist. A few to choose from.

So, we're in Belgium. Which artist? Has to be Deus. A bit Zappa, a bit waits. Good band. So now we leave Brugge and head across the border on the train to Amsterdam. So many great Dutch band to choose from.

So now that we are in the Netherlands so many aritist that I love to choose from. I've gone for the great Jan Akkerman of the legendary Focus. Heading into Germany next. That's going to be a tough choice.

I thought that the choice of a German band would be hard but in the end there was just one overwhelming choice, the incredibly brilliant Can. So, just need to work out where to go next on the journey.
