Instrumental hip-hop, cloud rap
not really my AOTY because its a compilation but this is a collection of most of Clams Casino's best work and is a clear 10/10 that should be noted. Gotta be the most essential collection of Cloud Rap beats anywhere.

Tech house, outsider house
One of the most engaging and exciting house albums I've ever heard. This is my highest rated album since 2016 (AMSP). I would expect this to remain my 2020 AOTY unless a 10 drops this year (Kendrick maybe?). It's definitely not as accessible as '2012-2017', which maybe that's a good thing since A.A.L had a stigma around it and tons of gatekeepers. Just when I thought Nico Jaar couldn't get any better he creates this thing...just incredible someone can be this good at making so many variations of Electronic music. His greatest strength might actually be House music at this point.
