Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 85.6/100, a mean average of 84.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 85.9/100. The standard deviation for this track is 15.7.

You don't get many artists that can produce one of their greatest songs 20 years into their recording career.
Not a U2 fan, but this song is great on many levels. It's got a great message, it's got exciting buildup and is just a fun song

it was good to open up to this coming off the disappointing Pop. great song!
Perfect lyrics, perfect song. Love it
Stellar. The lyrics, the guitar, the bass, everything about it. One of those songs that I can't imagine anyone not getting a kick out of. And the performance of this at Live 8 was inspired. 100/100
