Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 91.3/100, a mean average of 90.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 91.5/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.7.

Even on his deathbed, he somehow made one of the greatest songs of all time.

This is like a fusion of prog, electronica and symphonic rock, and my god does it work with striking results!

After 5 month of listenings, I confirm this is in my top 10 of Bowie's songs. I agree with @Space-Dementia, its structure has a Reflektor feeling, there's a melody pattern, then comes the fantastoc middle section, and finally it returns to initial pattern, enforced by the ghost of the central part. A sort of rock sonata. CHARMING arrangement!

Oh my god, this is awesome. Fucking incredible song! It's dark and mysterious, but then in the middle part the song takes another direction with this great glamorous style from Bowie, which is very catchy. The video is also amazing and a great experience. Beautiful!
