Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track has a Bayesian average rating of 70.9/100, a mean average of 69.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 70.7/100. The standard deviation for this track is 19.9.

Let me quote my review of another interlude:
"Well, can't really rate this track, as it's an interlude that only gets you from one track to another. I'm just gonna give it a 75, because it does work in context with the album, but it isn't really a song."

Another one you wish wasn't counted towards the overall...
It's almost not fair grading this song. Really could have just been added to the end of "Decatur..."

Objectively Sufjan's best song

this comment makes this 6 second track tied for the most comments of any track on the album

woo hoo!
A Modern Masterpiece, or, How To Record a Six Second Piece and Still Feel Good About Yourself in the Morning, or, We Apologize for Delaying Chicago but You'll Just Have To Wait, or, The Best Song on the Album and I Will Continue to Fight You Until You Agree!
(9.8/10 - song title is too short)

I didn't even get to start reading the backstory before the song was over.
WHOO HOO!
i really like the humor in this album
