Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 87.8/100, a mean average of 87.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.0/100. The standard deviation for this track is 10.6.

Gotta be a top five Led Zep song for me and that's saying something. A magnificently crafted folk/country rock ballad, with even a hint of baroque about it when JPJ accompanies Page's acoustic guitar on the mandolin. Just love how it can't be pigeon-holed as country simply because Page uses wah-wah on the pedal steel guitar (but the country element is definitely strongly present and tastefully melded with the folk). This song was important for me early on when learning guitar - and especially got me interested in 12-string acoustic. Damn frustrating to play along with as it is tuned down almost exactly half a semi-tone, i.e. you need to tune all 12 strings down to it by ear without use of a tuner, or your accompanying playing sounds terrible lol. I suppose that just adds to the intrigue of this beautiful song.

Great acoustic work, often overshadowed but that's how great they were.

My least favorite song on the album. Pretty song and all, but Plant sounds whiny here.
Is this the poppies Led Zeppelin ever got. Maybe. A beautiful song. Page has a certain quality to it's sound that makes this song eager and different.
Controversy aside, this is one of Zeppelin's best songs. One thing that confuses me a little though; How is this rated higher than That's the Way?
Beautiful
Nice and slow, Tangerine is one of those songs I wish i hadn't skipped many times in my MP3.

One of my favorite acoustic songs ever. Very heartfelt lyrics and simply an amazing short solo.
